늘 생각해왔던 바다. good storyteller가 가진 많은 문제들.

story는 많은 경우 당신 삶에 destructive impact를 가진다.
성공한 삶이란 무엇인가에 대해, 무슨 차를 굴려야하고 무슨 집에서 살아야 하는가에 대해, 등등
그게 대부분 다 '스토리'의 형태로, 내러티브의 형태로 다가온다.

two excellent books by Nassim N.Taleb presents the same idea of this talk in a much better and detailed way.

파슨스 과목을 5-6개 들어야만 했던 예전 시절.
파슨스가 홍콩에 갔던 이야기
파슨스와 호만스의 안좋은 사이...(같은 커미티 안에 넣으면 안됐음) 'social relations'를 만들때 파슨스의 축사를 호만스가 짜른 얘기ㅎ (호만스가 부유한 집 (아담스 패밀리?) 출신이라 약간 고고함)
소로킨에게 돈을 대준 러시아 사람(이름 까먹음.. 러시아의 큰 백화점 아들이었는데 일본에 가서 5년 공부하고 (이때 라이샤워를 가르침), 옌칭에 와서 부소장인가를 하다가 그때 소로킨을 지원해줌)
