belief

사람 뇌의 작동방식, 특성을 전자기적으로 규정할 수도 있고
화학적으로도 규정할 수 있듯이

인간 본질 또한 여러가지 방식이 있겠지만 내가 선호하고
또 유용하다고 보는 나만의 시각은 humans are belief machines..정도 된다.

물론 belief말고도 여러가지 특징이 있겠지만
(인지쪽에선 사람 뇌가 베이지언식으도 생각한다고도 하고 MCMC도 이루어진다는 주장도 있는데..--;; 실험에선 실패했지만;)
belief로 보는게 현상 설명하는데 꽤 설명력을 가짐.
belief도 이제 깊게 들어가면 여러가지...axiomatic belief, normative belief, evaluative belief...

belief의 definition들..

A description and perception of an object, its characteristics, and its relationship with other objects. (Katz, 1960)
If aman perceives some relationship between two things or between something and a characteristic of it, he is said to hold a belief. (Bem, 1970)
A proposition to which a person attributes at least a minimal degree of confidence. A proposition, as a statement about an object(s) or relations between objects and/or attributes, can be of any content. (Bar-Tal, 1990)
